Our process:

how it works

ZEUS is a fully automated system. Simply drop your food scraps into the chute and ZEUS will take care of the rest–including separating any contaminated waste.
STEP 1
Food waste is collected onsite and fed into the system.

Onsite Food Waste Processing
STEP 3
Slurry is digested by microbes in ZEUS's air-tight “stomach.”
STEP 4
The liquid byproduct is bottled into Soil Sauce, our nutrient-rich plant fertilizer.

Empowering communities through sustainable food practices.
Simplifying food waste management.
Housed in an insulated steel shipping container, Zeus collects food scraps and other compostables onsite, eliminating food waste transportation.
Diverting food waste from landfills.
Instead of going to landfills, food waste is converted to Soil Sauce, a nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer used in community gardens, farms, and house plants.
Reducing carbon emissions.
Keeping food waste out of landfills helps reduce harmful greenhouse gasses.
Creating renewable energy.
Methane, a natural by-product of food waste, is captured and can be used as renewable energy.
